Descrição: There’s quite a commotion at the small Stockholm home of sisters Tora and Lisa, when Tora’s fiancé Gunnar comes rushing in with a telegram from his uncle Kal, who has won the lottery and has announced his imminent arrival. The youngsters meet Kal off the train as he comes to collect his winnings. He does so at Gerells exchange office on Regeringsgatan, and then pays the money in at Norrlandsbanken bank. He then sets off for the outfitters, first Gahms and then to the Union tailor shop. Lisa then offers Brana coffee at home. Two weeks later Kal proposes to Lisa and she says yes. On the way to the engagement party at Rosenbad, the four pop into AB Salamander to buy shoes. The next day, Kal wants to look at a new car at Lundviks, where he chooses a luxury model and drives to Engelska Magasinet, where he and Lisa look at rugs. They buy lighting at Allmänna Svenska, and Brising & Fagerström help them out with everything else for their new home. With wealth comes responsibility. Herr Kalsson makes children happy thanks to M. Bendix’s extensive stock,” says the text. In the next sequence, we see the couple cramming five young children off the street and into the luxury car, and then dress them in white finery and give them dolls and toys. Lisa and Kal wave and bow to the camera, and Kal picks up a snowball which he throws at the viewers. This silent film is shown with musical accompaniment by Matti Bye.
